Membership Fees For 2024-25 Season

Please Note: Membership/match fees are subject to change following the conclusion of the clubs AGM

This page shows how much it costs to play for Waltham Forest Hockey Club.  Our fees are calculated by the club treasurer, then reviewed by the committee and are agreed by the members at the AGM for the forthcoming season.  This is to ensure that the club does not run at a loss.

Adult Memberships

Full Adult Membership:

Annual Membership Fee (AMF) of £60 plus 7 x monthly direct debits (September to March) of £47.86 totalling to £395.

Adult Concession Membership:  

Annual Membership Fee (AMF) of £60 plus 7 x monthly direct debits (September to March) of £21.43 totalling to £210.

18 and over in full-time study

GKs with own kit

65 and over

Ex student moving to London for the first year after graduating (first yr of membership only).

ABC Adult Membership:  

Annual Membership Fee (AMF) of £10 plus 7 x monthly direct debits (September to March) of £20 totalling to £150.

New to the club and who attended at least one ABC session over Summer 2024. Concession applies to first year of membership. Full adult rate thereafter.

WFHC Uni Students (Living away) Membership:

Annual Membership Fee (AMF) of £10

WFHC members who have gone away to university. Concession applies for the years away at uni. Allows for occasional training and matches during holidays

Casual Adult Membership:

Annual Membership Fee (AMF) of £60 plus 3 x monthly direct debits (September to November) of £51.67 totalling £215

Includes 8 games + training

Can upgrade from casual to full during the season subject to a conversion from casual to full adult membership. (N.B. It is always more expensive to start as a Casual Member and then convert later in the season than it is to have been a full member from the beginning).
